Mother's Day 2025...

:

Mother's Day is bittersweet for me these days. This year makes year 7 since my Mama transitioned. They say, "it get easier." I say, "you just learn to cope."

:

For the past few years, I've broken down in tears; reflecting and just left with 39 years worth of memories of my Mama; who she was and what she meant to me.

:

Today, I promised myself that I'd get up and get out. I cleaned my place, did laundry, and wrote in my journal.

:

Today, I didn't shed one tear. I hopped in may car and treated myself to a movie.

***my friend knows how much my Mama meant to me and how life tends to LIFE. Unbeknownst to me, I get a call just before the movie started with a voice asking "what seat are you in?" God surely has a funny sense of humor and placing some good people in ya life when you need them most.

:

I'm not a Mom, but Happy Mother's Day to all the Mama's out there!💐
