My go-to travel essentials🤍
As a Coloradan who loves traveling but also loves being home, these are the crunchy little things I bring to stay feeling like myself while traveling.
What’s in my airport bag:
• @wildling_beauty gua sha comb. Great for lymphatic drainage and muscle tension, especially while I’m training for a half marathon.
• @tracemineralsresearch mineral drops. Flights are super dehydrating so I add a few drops to my water to replenish minerals instead of just drinking plain water.
• @beingfrenshe magnesium body serum stick for neck, shoulders, and legs when I’m feeling tense.
• @ouraring to track sleep, recovery, and daily stats. Travel can throw off your routine so it helps me stay in tune with my body.
• @origins GinZing SPF moisturizer. Gives a little glow for early flights when I’m skipping makeup and want something light on my skin.
• @goodmolecules wake up eye gel to help depuff for those early flights.
• wired headphones (you can grab the ones I use through the link in my bio)
• @beingfrenshe Moon Milk perfume oil. My current favorite. It’s Ashley Tisdale’s brand and it’s a roll-on oil with better ingredients in it.
• @vaselinebrand lip therapy because airplane air is brutal.
• @hydroflask refillable water bottle. Better for the environment and it fits perfectly in my @patagonia backpack pocket so I don’t even have to think about it.
• @beekeepers_naturals propolis spray because airports are… airports.
• @thatsitfruit fruit bar. Since I have food allergies, I always travel with snacks I know are safe for me, especially when connections are tight.
You can grab everything through my LTK linked in my bio.
They’re small things, but they make travel days feel a lot better. You definitely don’t need all of these, they’re just what helps me feel more regulated right now.
Save this for your next flight ✈️
And if you have a travel essential you swear by, tell me below. I’m always adding things to my airport bag.

Traveling frequently, I’ve learned that small, thoughtful essentials can make a huge difference in maintaining my well-being throughout a journey. One of my favorite go-to items is a gua sha comb like the Wildling Beauty version, which helps with lymphatic drainage and eases muscle tension—particularly helpful if you’re active, like training for a race or dealing with travel stiffness. Hydration is always a challenge on planes because the air is so dry. I actually add trace mineral drops to my water to replenish lost electrolytes rather than just drinking plain water. This approach keeps me feeling refreshed and prevents headaches or fatigue that often come with dehydration. When flying, stress and tension tend to accumulate, especially around my neck and shoulders. A magnesium-infused body serum stick is a compact and effective solution I apply on the go. It instantly eases my muscles and calms the nervous system, which makes all the difference during long travel days. Tracking my sleep quality and recovery with smart devices like the Oura Ring has been a gamechanger for staying in tune with my body’s needs. Travel sometimes disrupts routines, but monitoring patterns helps me adjust and recover faster. For skincare, a lightweight SPF moisturizer giving a subtle glow is perfect for early flights when I prefer to skip heavy makeup. Depuffing the under-eye area with a gentle wake-up eye gel is an easy way to look more refreshed, especially after red-eye flights. Adding a personal scent like a roll-on perfume oil with natural ingredients makes me feel grounded and uplifted in busy airport environments. I never forget Vaseline lip therapy to combat dry airplane air, and a refillable, eco-conscious water bottle fits right into my backpack for continuous hydration. Since airports can be germ-filled, a natural propolis spray helps support my immune system while on the move. Food allergies require me to travel prepared with safe snacks, so I always carry fruit bars that are reliable and easy to pack. All these essentials contribute to a smoother, healthier travel experience and help me stay centered no matter the destination. If you haven’t yet, try incorporating a few of these wellness-focused items into your travel kit — you’ll notice a tremendous difference in comfort and how your body handles the stresses of flying and new environments.
