On-site testing the kitchen lighting sensors—fine-tuning sensitivity, angles, and timing so the space responds exactly when you need it. Seamless, hands-free lighting isn’t just a feature, it’s about making everyday living smoother and more intuitive.

Good design is what you don’t have to think about. 💡🏡

... Read moreIn my experience, implementing sensor-based lighting in the kitchen can dramatically improve convenience and energy efficiency. When setting up motion sensors, it’s crucial to calibrate their sensitivity correctly; too sensitive and the lights may turn on unnecessarily, too low and they might not respond when needed. Adjusting the detection angles also makes a big difference—ideally, sensors should cover all entry points and high-traffic areas without reacting to movements outside the kitchen. Timing controls are equally important. I found that having the lights remain on for about 30 seconds after detecting no movement strikes a perfect balance—long enough to prevent flickering light, but short enough to save energy. Additionally, integrating these sensors with dimmable LED fixtures can enhance ambience and functionality, allowing the lighting to adjust smoothly based on the time of day or specific kitchen tasks. An intuitive smart lighting setup reduces the need to manually operate switches, making everyday kitchen tasks smoother. Whether you’re carrying groceries or cooking late at night, hands-free lighting ensures safety and comfort. This effort ultimately leads to a modern living environment where technology quietly supports daily life, embodying the essence of good design: functionality without being intrusive.

Design is the vision, but the details are the reality. 📐 Most people think an Interior Designer’s job ends when the 3D drawings are approved. In reality, that’s just where the real work begins. I’m on-site today for a final carpentry check, testing every hinge, aligning every door, and ensuring

💦 Testing Kose Makeup Mist in SG Humidity!
Ever since I came back to Singapore, I swear my setting sprays don’t hit the same way they did in Spain 🥲. Maybe it’s the weather, maybe it’s the humidity — but my makeup just doesn’t last as long anymore. So I decided to test out 4 different setting sprays and see how they wear throughout the day!
