SAD GIRL SUMMER IS IN FULL SWING!
This has not gotten easier gorls ! As you all have seen from my previous spiral and crash out moment: I vented to strangers on the internet about grieving the loss of my relationship (while dealing with other heavy things)
-Though majority of you were very supportive and gave me great advice I still can’t find a way to get back to heart center and loving me.
-I’ve recently realized I haven’t taken an actual picture of myself *selfies or just putting on a cute outfit with the exception of that gym photo* AT ALL since then
-I’m finding it uncomfortable look at men in the eye cause I’m just feeling anxious all the time, even when they share his name I’m trigged. Like I zone tf out. 🙂↔️
I say all that too say I’m not trying to rush my grieving process it’s a lot to just readjust after that much time spent
I have my music on repeat: every word on each of these songs I physically feel in my chest articulating what I can’t say artistically and beautifully. My therapist who is amazing & the gym but there is just something that is missing…and I think it’s him.
SOUNDS. FREAKIN. CRAZYYYYYYYY. But…
Summer nights just feel like us. And I have no idea what to do with all this extra emotional energy I’m not expending besides overthink what he’s doing , who he’s with rn and why did he just pull the rug underneath my feet like that 🫠 lolz this blowwwwwsssss

Dealing with heartbreak can be an overwhelming experience, especially during significant times like summer. During this period of heartache, many find solace in music that resonates with their emotions, much like the playlist that encompasses feelings of loss and longing. Artists like Usher and Jhené Aiko provide the perfect backdrop for reflecting on love lost and the memories that linger. Songs such as 'Ruin' by Usher and 'Nobody Gets Me' by SZA articulate feelings that many may struggle to express in words. Additionally, summertime can amplify feelings of loneliness, making it essential to find outlets for emotions. Engaging in self-care practices, being open with friends about your feelings, and allowing yourself to grieve at your own pace can be incredibly beneficial. It's also vital to acknowledge that while healing is a personal journey, connecting with others who have experienced similar situations can provide a sense of community and understanding. Platforms like Lemon8 foster such connections, enabling users to share their stories and find support during challenging times. As we navigate through our emotions, remember that healing isn't linear—it's a journey filled with ups and downs, but each step brings you closer to rediscovering joy.

I'm late, not sure where you are in the process but keep the focus on you! Ask yourself if a person that would do —— do I really want that. 🥰
