Silky Smooth Hair Mask

✨✨After I use this mask, it feels like I just got my hair done! So soft, shiny, and holds my curl better too (usually it falls flat & frizzy)!!!🎀💕

•one egg

•aloe Vera (I have a small plant & empty two stems!)

•two tablespoons of plain greek yogurt

•tea tree essential oil (you can use peppermint, it’s preference!)

•lemon juice (half a lemon)

- Mix it up really good!!

-I use a dropper to apply it to roots, massage it in, then do my best to apply it all over!

*application can get messy, slow & steady wins the race!*

-leave in for at least 1 hour! Your hair will feel crunchy when it dries.. like you put hair gel in!

-rinse, shampoo twice, & condition

ideally, let it mostly air dry out. I’ve blow dried too, it still looks great either way!

Wallah!😱😍🫶🏻

Your hair will ⭐️feel super soft!

⭐️smell way fresh! ⭐️look so shiny!

Try it & let me know what you think!! I want to start doing this mask twice a month, it’s super simple to make and you can leave it in while you girl boss all your other day tasks!

... Read moreOkay, so you've seen my 'My Hair Mask Recipe' and probably wondered if it really delivers on the silky, shiny promise. Trust me, it does! Especially if you, like me, have naturally thick & oily hair that tends to get frizzy or fall flat. This homemade concoction isn't just a quick fix; it's a game-changer for getting that salon-quality look right from your bathroom. Let's break down why these simple kitchen ingredients make such a powerful hair mask treatment at home for glossy hair. The star of the show, the egg, is packed with protein, which is essentially hair food! It helps strengthen strands, reduce breakage, and gives that amazing shine. Think of it as a natural keratin boost that's perfect for a homemade egg hair mask for shiny hair. Then there's aloe vera. If you can get it fresh from a plant, even better! It's super moisturizing and helps soothe the scalp, promoting healthy growth. For me, it calms down any oiliness without stripping my hair, which is a huge plus for naturally thick & oily hair types. Plain Greek yogurt adds lactic acid, which gently exfoliates the scalp and helps remove product buildup, making your hair feel incredibly clean and soft. It also adds a creamy texture to the mask, making it easier to apply. A few drops of tea tree or peppermint oil (depending on your preference) give a refreshing tingle and have antimicrobial properties, great for keeping the scalp healthy, especially for those prone to an oily scalp. Finally, a squeeze of lemon juice. While it adds shine, it also acts as a natural clarifier, helping to balance scalp pH and reduce excess oil. Just be careful not to use too much, especially if you have very dry hair, as it can be slightly drying. I know the application can be a bit messy – trust me, I've had my share of eggy drips! My pro tip for this homemade hair mask for silky and shiny hair: apply it in the shower before you turn the water on, or lean over the sink. Use a wide-tooth comb to distribute it evenly after applying with a dropper to the roots. Don't rush! Covering your hair with a shower cap also helps the ingredients penetrate better and keeps the mess contained. And that 'crunchy' stage? Totally normal! It just means the egg is working its magic. Don't worry, it rinses out completely. I always do two shampoos to make sure there's no residue left, then finish with my regular conditioner for smooth shiny hair after natural mask. Making this a regular part of your haircare routine, say twice a month, really makes a difference for smooth shiny hair after hair mask treatment. I've noticed not just the immediate softness and shine, but also an improvement in my hair's overall health and strength. It feels thicker, less prone to breakage, and my natural waves have more definition instead of just frizzing out. If you're struggling with dull, lifeless, or unruly hair, especially if it's on the thicker, oilier side, give this homemade egg hair treatment for glossy hair a serious try. You'll be amazed at the transformation!
