Kitchen Corners🤎
In our new house, it feels like nothing has found its place yet.
Walls are still empty, pictures are still propped up waiting to be hung, and I really want to move out living room furniture around for the third time because nothing seems *right*.
The cats are taking up an entire bedroom because we don’t know where to put them.
The nursery is fully decorated and equipped to serve its purpose, but we had to make a bed in the bathtub for three weeks of winter because his room wouldn’t get warm.

It’s easy to keep going with that list. BUT instead, I want to look at the progress we’ve made in crafting our home so far. My favorite room yet is the kitchen! I love when I get the opportunity to spend time in there because it feels the least empty and the most personality filled yet tasteful room in our house. There’s practical yet quirky decor on the walls. There’s hints of colors and family photos. There may be clutter and baby bottles and breast pumps sitting out 24/7, but that’s the stage of life I’m in now. And I LOVE this stage of life!

My coffee corner gets loooots of love, I got the croissant and coffee checker art piece on @Temu , as well as the propagation tubes holder. The curtains from wayfair, and most of my coffee equipment from amazon!
Next is my newest addition, the butcher paper roll! It’s right next to the window at my front steps & door and this time of year I love to keep flowers by it! The quote is from a beautiful spring liturgy. I found the paper roll on Amazon.
The third and final corner on display is my baking side counter! It’s not big enough to do all my baking on, but my mixer lives here and it gets lots of love as well! The disco ball canvas came from temu I believe, and the framed photo was gifted to us. I love this photo because the clutter on the counter actually tells alot about our family! I do photography for part of my work, both as a side gig and for my church/christian school ministry where I serve as the social media & website manager! My husband and I are also the college department heads at our church, so walking in the Word of God is essential in order to, yes live life in general and be a wise and loving spouse and parent, but also to pour into college students spiritually!

This corner is where work and passion intersect for me, as I juggle photography and church ministry roles alongside family life. Keeping some clutter visible is not just honest but endearing; it speaks of a home lived in and loved.
