Things to do in Solvang CA!💛

💛 I love Solvang. It’s so fun to visit especially after doctor’s appointments. We went with my aunt today as she hasn’t been here for a long while. I live so close but sometimes the drive there stops me from going. But as a local, it is always good to be involved. These are some new places I went today and a couple of old places, all so much fun.

💛 Paula’s Pancake House was new for us! I got the danish style sausage with over easy eggs and has browns. My food was great. My aunt got their pancakes which is what they are known for. They’re thin and have a spice in them that has a warmth to them, and paired with their syrup made it so much more tastier. My mom got the chicken fried steak which was good but nothing to rave home about.

💛 Brød and Kage is my favorite bakery. It’s small and quaint and their coconut macarons are the best! But the almond horns and danishes are delightful.

💛Jules Haus is my family’s favorite spot to look for some small gifts for Christmas. I love going there and just window shopping.

💛Skinderella was a new place for us and I bought eucalyptus shower steamers. The soaps there are artisanal and very cute. They have all different kinds of fun molds and shapes. They all smell very nice too! They are a bit pricey with their soaps at 15-25 dollars depending on what you get.

💛 I don’t recommend going to the gift shops because they’re all the same and not very good quality. They’re those things that you just buy because it’s fun. Look for the other shops that are more authentic!

Fun things to do!
When you go to Solvang, CA be prepared to eat! Pastries, ice cream, chocolate, and so much more to try in this little town. You can see the entire town on foot and enjoy the danish aesthetic. The clothing stores can be a bit pricey. But I do have to say they do have good taste in some of the shops.
