Dossier Fruity Gardenia

Dossier Fruity Gardenia suppossed to be a dupe for Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia. Your thoughts? I will spray both on at same time to make the scent last longer. Gucci seems to last only 3-4 hours. I hope Gucci increases the longevity being at that high price point.

That’s why I was so curious when I heard about Dossier Fruity Gardenia being a potential dupe for Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia. I mean, who doesn't want designer quality without the markups, right? I decided to put them to the ultimate test. I sprayed Dossier Fruity Gardenia on one wrist and Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia on the other, just like I do with all my comparisons. What struck me first was how incredibly close the initial sprays were! Both open with a bright, juicy fruitiness. For Dossier, I picked up on the crisp Pear and a burst of Red Fruits and Mandarine, which perfectly sets the stage for the florals. Gucci Flora has a similar vibrant opening, often described as a pear note. Then, the heart notes bloom. Dossier's Gardenia and Jasmine are absolutely gorgeous – a creamy, elegant floral blend. Gucci's version also centers around the beautiful white gardenia. Honestly, it was hard to tell them apart in the first hour! Now, let's talk about longevity, which was a huge point for me. My Gucci Flora, as much as I love it, only seems to last about 3-4 hours on my skin. I was really hoping Dossier would give me more staying power, especially since I want my perfume to last through my workday. My wear test showed that Dossier Fruity Gardenia definitely held its own, lasting a good 5-6 hours on me, settling into a beautiful skin scent afterward. The base notes really shine through – the Patchouli, Dry Fruits, and a hint of Brown Sugar in Dossier add a lovely warmth and depth that lingers beautifully. This makes it a much more practical choice for daily wear without constant reapplication. For anyone wondering about "wangi apa" (what does it smell like), imagine a fresh, sweet, and slightly creamy gardenia that’s not too heavy or cloying. It’s got that vibrant, youthful energy of red fruits balanced by sophisticated florals and a warm, comforting dry down. It's truly a beautiful, versatile perfume. Speaking of making scents last, I’ve found a few tricks that really help, especially with lighter floral fragrances. Always apply to moisturized skin – a good unscented lotion creates a barrier that locks in the scent. I also love spraying a little on my pulse points (wrists, neck, behind ears) and even a light mist in my hair or on my clothes (just be careful with delicate fabrics!). Overall, if you're like me and adore the elegant floral-fruity vibe of Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia but wish for better longevity and a friendlier price tag, Dossier Fruity Gardenia is absolutely worth checking out. It delivers an incredibly similar scent experience with impressive wear time. Dossier truly lives up to its promise of "ICONIC SCENTS. DESIGNER QUALITY. NO MARKUPS." They have a whole range of fantastic options, so if you enjoy this one, you might also like to explore their other fruity scents like those with magnolia or orange notes. It’s a fantastic way to enjoy your favorite fragrance profiles without breaking the bank!
