It’s always like that in Resident Evil🤣🔥🔥

It’s funny how some characters just stick with you, and for me, Leon S. Kennedy from Resident Evil is definitely one of them! Every time I see him, whether it's in a tense cutscene or during intense gameplay, I just think, ‘Yep, that’s Leon.’ He's got this undeniable cool factor and a journey that's just so compelling. What is it about Leon that makes him such a fan favorite? For me, it's his evolution. We first meet him as a rookie cop on his first day, thrust into the nightmare of Raccoon City. This early Leon in Game persona, despite the pixelated graphics of the original RE2, already had a strong presence. Then, seeing him as a hardened government agent in Resident Evil 4, rescuing the President's daughter – that transformation was just epic! He’s always balancing his duty with a hint of sarcasm and a very human vulnerability. One thing I always notice, and I know other fans do too, is the difference between Leon in Cinematic sequences and his actual Leon in Game appearance. Developers put so much effort into those cinematic moments, giving us these incredibly detailed and emotive portrayals. Think about the stunning visuals in films like Resident Evil: Degeneration or *Infinite Darkness*, where every hair and facial expression is painstakingly rendered. Those high-quality cinematics really amplify his heroism and sometimes his despair. Then you jump back to controlling him in-game, and while the graphics have come a long way since the PS1 era, there’s still that slight difference. But honestly, it’s part of the charm! Whether it's the more stylized look in RE4 or the grittier, more realistic models in the RE2 Remake and RE4 Remake, he always feels like our Leon. The way he moves, the way he aims, his signature fighting style – it all contributes to that iconic character we love to play as. It’s not just about the visuals; it’s about the experience of being Leon. I often find myself replaying parts of the games just to relive some of his most memorable moments, like the first time he meets Ada Wong or his knife fight with Krauser. These moments, both big and small, contribute to his legend. And it's not just me! The Resident Evil community, especially on platforms like Lemon8, is filled with fans sharing their favorite Leon Kennedy art, cosplays, and headcanons. It’s amazing to see how much love and creativity he inspires. He's more than just a character; he's a legend in the gaming world, and someone whose story I'll always be invested in.
