Roronoa Zoro

Hey everyone! I just wanted to share a bit more about my recent Roronoa Zoro drawing that I'm so excited about. If you're anything like me, you probably love Zoro's incredible 3-sword style, and trying to capture that dynamic energy on paper can be a real adventure! I’ve been wanting to do a detailed line art drawing of him for ages, focusing on his iconic Santoryu stance and an epic action pose wielding three swords. When I start a new piece, especially a character as complex as Zoro, I always begin with a rough zoro sketch to get the proportions right. For this particular sword sketch zoro drawing, I spent a lot of time on his posture to ensure his 3-sword style looked natural and powerful. I used my trusty mechanical pencil for those initial guidelines and for all the intricate line work later on. I love trying to depict the movement of his green hair swords as he prepares for an attack.
