I’m currently 35 weeks pregnant with my baby boy 🥹🩵
Being 35 weeks pregnant with my second child is an incredibly unique experience compared to my first pregnancy. This time around, I’m more aware of the changes my body is undergoing and the incredible milestone of maternity that lies ahead. One thing I've found helpful is embracing self-care and listening closely to my body’s signals to stay grounded. As a stay-at-home mom (SAHM), balancing the needs of my first child while preparing for a newborn adds layers of complexity but also deep fulfillment. I’ve been learning to lean on routines that work for our family dynamic and allot moments for relaxation to manage stress. What surprises many about second pregnancies is how different each experience can be—the physical sensations, emotions, and anticipation evolve differently. I noticed my baby boy is very active now, which has been a beautiful reminder of the life growing inside me. Additionally, connecting with other moms online using hashtags like #momlife, #pregnant, #secondpregnancy, and #maternity provides a supportive community where I can share advice and hear varied stories. These connections help me feel less alone and more empowered through this transformative phase. If you’re expecting your second child, some tips I’d recommend include keeping a journal to track your thoughts and milestones, maintaining open communication with your healthcare provider, and giving yourself grace as you adjust to the dual roles of mothering a toddler and preparing for a newborn. Overall, this journey has deepened my appreciation for motherhood and the miraculous process of pregnancy. I’m eagerly awaiting the arrival of my baby boy while cherishing every moment in this final trimester.
