Getting my wigs back was such a relief and a moment of joy. From personal experience, once you have your wigs back, it’s important to care for them properly to maintain their look and extend their lifespan. I always start by gently detangling with a wide-tooth comb and using wig-specific shampoos to keep the fibers soft and shiny. Styling wigs can be a creative process. Depending on the material, you might be able to use heat tools, but always check the wig's care instructions first. For synthetic wigs, low-heat settings or steam styling can help reshape without damage. For human hair wigs, you have more styling freedom, similar to natural hair. Storing wigs properly is another key tip. I use a wig stand or mannequin head to keep the shape intact and avoid tangling. When traveling, a wig case or a silk bag works perfectly.
