It can feel a little overwhelming at first, but trust me, once you get the hang of it, a whole new world of customization opens up! You'll need a Nintendo Online subscription for this. Once you're there, you can search for designs by specific design IDs or creator IDs. Pinterest and Twitter also have incredible communities where creators share their codes – just search for #ACNHDesign or #ACNHCustomDesign! You'll find so much inspiration there, it's wild! I often use them as pretty pathways, like subtle floral borders along my regular paths, or even as entire flower fields that never wilt! Just select the design from your NookPhone and choose 'Display on Ground.' This is perfect for creating intricate patterns, adding a pop of color to grassy areas, or even making large-scale art. You can also use them on canvases or signposts for decorative touches around your garden areas. A little tip from my own island journey: try layering different flower designs! I love using a base design for a main flower bed, and then adding smaller, detailed designs on top to create depth and variety. Don't be afraid to experiment with how they look in different lighting, too – some designs truly shine at '8:00 PM' when the sun is setting, casting beautiful shadows. And don't worry if a design doesn't quite fit your vision – that's what the 'Erase' option is for! You can easily remove custom designs from the ground or your inventory if you change your mind.
