Many opt for QuestCraft, a fantastic community-driven project that brings a near-native Minecraft Java Edition experience directly to your standalone headset. It’s incredible to see the full game running without a PC! Another popular method, especially if you want to play your existing Java world, is using Virtual Desktop to stream the PC VR version of Minecraft (like Vivecraft) to your Quest. I tried both, and while QuestCraft is amazing for its simplicity, Virtual Desktop gives you that raw PC power. The moment you load in, everything changes. Instead of just controlling a character, YOU'RE literally INTO the game. That first time I broke a BLOCK of dirt with my virtual hand, it felt so real.
