How Did Corporate Lingo Get This Insane?

Let’s be real — the first few months in corporate life feel like learning a whole new language.

When I first started, I’d just nod, write them down, and Google later like “what does bandwidth even mean??” Now I catch myself saying things like “let’s circle back” or “I don’t have the bandwidth” and I’m like… oh no. I’ve become one of them.

It’s wild how fast you start picking up the language once you’ve been in the game for a while. Suddenly I’m out here decoding emails like a pro and sprinkling in “per my last email” like it’s my signature move 💅

Corporate life really is its own language — but once you learn it, you start feeling way more confident (and lowkey powerful) in meetings.

So here’s your quick Corporate Girly Dictionary, straight from someone who’s had to Google these in the middle of meetings (no shame):

👉 What’s the funniest or most ridiculous corporate phrase you’ve ever heard? I need to know 😭💼
