I hit the Vanilla jackpot in TJ Maxx yesterday!! I believe these were all the Liquid Brazil scents and besides the caramel which I typically like, I would pass on that and the rest were AMAZING!! Smelled so good!! The Vanilla caramel hair and body mist was to DIE for! The vanilla blush body mist smelled good but was VERY light. Not sure how long that would last. Aeropostale Blonde Caramel was warm and yummy!! I finally found the gourmand mimics and they definitely lived up to the hype! I looooove both of the smells! Can’t wait to find the body oils. If you love vanilla and you see the Banana Pudding GRAB it!! By far was my favorite of the bunch! I will say the Marshmallow Blossom came in a close second! It was creamy and definitely had hints of vanilla. I picked it up with hopes the scent will last for a while! TJMaxx take ALLLL my money 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️😅🤍🤍 #tjmaxxfinds#vanillagirl#lemon8beauty#perfume#vanilla

... Read moreOkay, so you've seen my amazing TJ Maxx haul, and I know what you're thinking: 'How much are these amazing products?!' That's the beauty (and sometimes the mystery!) of TJ Maxx, right? Prices can vary depending on the store and when you snag them, but generally, I find body mists like the Aeropostale Blonde Caramel, Bubble Beauty Vanilla Blush, or Forever 21 Marshmallow Blossom often range from $5-$10. For the more concentrated finds, like the Compound 120 Eau De Parfum or the Sand+Fog California Vanilla Musk Eau De Parfum Oil, you might be looking at $12-$25, which is still an absolute steal compared to department stores! My best tip for finding these gems at a great price? Go often and go early! You never know what new treasures have just been stocked.
Let's talk more about some of these incredible vanilla scents, especially the Aeropostale Blonde Caramel. This one truly blew me away! The OCR notes describe it perfectly: 'warm spices, salted cream, and cedarwood.' It's not just a sweet caramel; it has this sophisticated warmth that makes it feel so cozy and inviting. If you're looking for a signature fall/winter scent that isn't too heavy, this is it. I love layering it with a plain vanilla lotion to really make it last. It's quickly become a favorite 'perfume' in my collection, even though it's a mist!
Beyond the mists, don't overlook the other fantastic finds. Those 'Liquid Brazil' scents I mentioned – like the Vanilla Soiree – are often hidden gems. And yes, I'm still searching for more of those gourmand mimics, especially the body oils! The Whipped Banana Pudding was a standout, with its notes of 'banana custard, whipped coconut cream, and vanilla wafer cookie' – it's literally a dessert in a bottle! For something a little different, the Forever 21 Marshmallow Blossom with 'lemon sugar, toasty marshmallow, and salted caramel' offers a brighter, yet still sweet, experience.
When you're hunting for perfumes and body mists at TJ Maxx, always give them a quick sniff test (if allowed!) and check the packaging carefully. Sometimes, you can find incredible dupes for high-end fragrances, or unique indie brands like Compound 161 CocoWood Gourmand that you wouldn't discover anywhere else. Pay attention to the concentration – an Eau De Parfum (EDP) will generally last longer than a body mist. For example, that Compound 120 Eau De Parfum with its 'floral and bourbon vanilla' blend is likely to have impressive staying power. Even the Sand+Fog California Vanilla Musk Eau De Parfum Oil is going to sit closer to the skin but provide a beautiful, long-lasting aroma.
Whether you're into a classic Vanilla Caramel Sugar, a fresh Vanilla Citrine, or a deep, musky vanilla, TJ Maxx truly is a wonderland for fragrance lovers. Keep an eye out for those unique 'Liquid Brazil' bottles and other unexpected sweet treasures. Happy hunting, and I hope you find your next vanilla obsession!
In my opinion, the perfume fragrances with 20% concentrated oil do not seem to last long. I prefer the new Miim.Miic Perfume Oils and Miim.Miic Dry Touch Hair & Body Oils—108 & 99.
