Didn’t go the standard route… but it’s working.
Not sure what changed, but something definitely did.🙂↔️🙂↔️
After starting my GLP-1 journey, one of the most surprising and impactful changes I've experienced is this feeling of 'not being hungry at all.' It's not just a reduced appetite; it's like a complete shift in how my body perceives food and hunger cues. Before, I constantly had 'food noise' – those intrusive thoughts about my next meal, what I should or shouldn't eat, and just a general preoccupation with food throughout the day. Now, that noise is completely absent. It's quiet, and it's incredibly freeing. On Day 4, for instance, my journal entry clearly noted 'reduced hunger' and 'no food noise,' which has been a consistent theme. This means I'm no longer eating out of habit, boredom, or emotional triggers. Instead, I eat intentionally, focusing on nourishing my body rather than satisfying a craving that isn't even there. I've found myself being incredibly mindful of my portion sizes and what nutrients I'm getting. For example, on Day 3, my meals included mushroom toast, a shredded veggie salad, rice with dal and herb salad, and iced black coffee. Surprisingly, these four meals totaled around 815 kcal, and I felt completely full, with no crash afterward and absolutely zero cravings. This was a significant revelation for me, as I used to struggle to stay within a reasonable calorie target. The challenge now isn't resisting hunger, but ensuring I still get enough nutrients and calories to fuel my body, even when I don't feel hungry. I've learned to plan my meals thoughtfully, incorporating protein, healthy fats, and plenty of fiber-rich vegetables. It's easy to under-eat when you have no appetite, so I make a conscious effort to include nutrient-dense foods in smaller portions throughout the day. Hydration has also become crucial; sometimes thirst can be mistaken for a subtle hunger cue, or simply because I'm not thinking about food as much, I might forget to drink enough. I make sure to keep a water bottle handy and sip throughout the day. Beyond just food, my overall well-being has seen a positive shift. The 'quieter mood' I've been experiencing isn't just about reduced food preoccupation; it extends to a general sense of calm and mental clarity. With less mental energy spent on food, I feel more focused and present in other areas of my life. I also make an effort to stay active, tracking my steps – I hit 2,173 steps on Day 4 – and monitoring my weight, which was 150.9 lbs that day, to keep an eye on my progress and overall metabolic health. This non-standard route to wellness has truly been transformative for me. It’s a journey of rediscovering my body’s true needs and finding a sustainable path to health, free from the constant burden of food thoughts and cravings.

idk if it’ll work for everyone but googling vitancore kinda led me to what I needed 😅
