Thinking of my Patients

I help patients every day get out of pain. Headaches, eye strain, dizziness, anxiety. I watch their lives change when we finally find answers.

Pain is complex. Vision, spine, nervous system, stress. Nothing works in isolation. That’s why quick fixes fail and why so many people feel dismissed.

This work matters because pain is real.

Because it’s not “all in your head.”

And because when someone finally looks at the whole picture, lives change.

How I explain therapy vs medications to patients
I tell patients that therapy and medication can work hand in hand but serve different purposes. Therapy helps uncover patterns, build coping skills, and address root causes of distress. Medication, on the other hand, can stabilize symptoms like anxiety or depression to make therapy more effective.
