Throughout my personal healing journey, I’ve come to realize that trying to be perfect in life, especially in faith, can be more of a burden than a blessing. The phrase "God doesn’t require perfection" truly resonates because it reminds me that love and grace are far more important than flawless behavior. Many people struggle with feelings of inadequacy, thinking they must meet certain standards to be accepted by God or others. But in my experience, acknowledging our flaws and vulnerabilities opens the door to genuine healing and self-acceptance. When I shifted my focus from trying to be perfect to allowing myself space for growth, I felt a liberating sense of peace and purpose. Choosing to live intentionally, embracing each day as an opportunity for healing and love, helps me stay grounded.
