You might have spotted my sweet hound mix, Cairo, in my intro post! He’s truly one of a kind, with a personality as unique as his markings. Living with a hound mix like Cairo is an adventure every day. He's got that classic hound nose, always ready for a new scent exploration, whether we're on a nature walk or just in the backyard. His gentle nature makes him a wonderful companion, always ready for a snuggle on the couch under a blanket, especially after a long day of 'investigating' the neighborhood. I often find myself laughing at his goofy antics and the way he communicates with his expressive eyes and occasional, charming bay. Then there's Motley, my energetic Dalmatian. If Cairo is the calm, thoughtful explorer, Motley is the playful, spotted burst of joy! He keeps us on our toes with his boundless energy and love for a good run. Owning a Dalmatian means you’re never short on entertainment, and Motley certainly lives up to that. He’s incredibly smart and loves learning new tricks, especially when treats are involved. Watching him and Cairo interact is always a highlight—they have such different personalities but complement each other perfectly, often ending up in a playful chase or a shared nap in a sunbeam. And reigning over them all is Charlie, our tabby cat. He’s the true king of the house, gracefully tolerating his canine siblings while secretly enjoying their company. Charlie has a way of finding the most comfortable spots, whether it's a pile of clothes or curled up on a warm lap. He adds that touch of feline mystique to our lively household. It's truly a full house with these three, and they bring so much joy and laughter into my life every single day. Being a pet parent to Motley, Cairo, and Charlie has taught me so much about unconditional love and patience. They’re a huge part of my life, just as much as my passion for self-taught makeup artistry, attending concerts (Louder Than Life is a favorite!), and celebrating Halloween as my favorite holiday. My love for animals often inspires my creative side, from colorful eye makeup looks to just enjoying quiet moments with them. I’m excited to share more glimpses into our life, from their funny moments to my latest makeup creations, as I get to know this amazing Lemon8 community.
