Add Meaning!

Keeping a list of activities, goals, random ideas, and etc. can help add a lot of meaning to your life when you’re feeling a bit… stuck. Ya know, caught in that life loop of get up, go to work, come home, go to sleep, repeat— with too much doomscrolling sprinkled in. Trust me, I get it.

It takes a bit of initiative to get the ball rolling sometimes, but once you start, you’ll be leading a more fulfilling life in no time!

Here are some things on MY list 📝:

• Start & end each day with a gratitude

• Wake up before you NEED to

• Daily movement— even just a walk

• Write out validations during tough times

• Be aware of & exercise your boundaries

• Plan nature outings — day & night one!

• Keep up with self care routines — daily & weekly

• Reflect at the end of the day

• Start each day with some time outside

• Always be reviewing/ updating goals

• Don’t rush meals; eat with intention

• Ask “why” when you’re putting off a task

• Write out fears and how to tackle them

• Give compliments

• Always be reading something; keep a record

• Write notes for loved ones

• Rest fully when you need it— mental, sensory, etc.

• Check out local activities

• Have “no screen time” zones

• Make mood boards to help with visualisations

• Keep a list of DIY activities to knock out

• Practice something creative

• Pick a topic, become obsessed, learn all you can

• Keep a list of gifts for loved ones

• Have an arsenal of meals to cook to impress

• Check out new areas— towns, neighborhoods, etc.

• Plan time with others

• Have a list of volunteer opportunities

• Make playlists for activities

My list is ever growing and I give it a peek when I find myself in a rut. There’s always something that I can do to boost my mood, confidence, and well-being.
