📖 Backstory: "Stephen Flaherty (b. 1960) is a Tony Award winning musical theatre and film composer. He was born in Pittsburgh, where he began taking piano lessons at age seven and composing musical scores at age fourteen. Along with frequent collaborator Lynn Ahrens, Flaherty composed the music and co-wrote the book for the 2000 musical comedy Seussical, which was inspired by the works of famed children's author Dr. Seuss. In the show, the Cat in the Hat breaks the fourth wall near the end of Act I to sing ""How Lucky You Are,"" a comic relief number which reminds the audience of their relative fortune compared to the protagonist Horton who is forced to search a massive patch of identical clovers for one specific clover on which the Whos reside."
