From a practical standpoint, this new age requirement might encourage young fans to deepen their knowledge and bond more with their local communities before embarking on wider travels. It also offers time to better prepare for challenges they will face when they finally start their journey. Personally, I consider this a responsible step by the Kanto League. The decision emphasizes a balance between nurturing passion for Pokémon and protecting young trainers in an increasingly complex world. It will be interesting to see how this new policy shapes the next generation's Pokémon adventures and how the Pokémon anime and games will reflect these changes. For now, aspiring young trainers can focus on honing their skills and building strong friendships at home, waiting patiently until they’re older and ready for the big journey ahead.
