Is it really too much to ask for a little heads up

My close friend just had a baby. I’ve been so supportive. I love hanging with her, and her little one’s adorable but she keeps showing up at my apartment unannounced with the baby, no heads-up if I’m free or if it’s a good time.

At first, I let it slide. But now it’s every other week, and it’s wearing on me. I live in a tiny one bedroom, which has no extra space for all the baby stuff. More than that, it feels like my personal time’s getting invaded. I’ll be in sweatpants trying to unwind after work, and suddenly she’s at my door.

I’ve hinted at meeting elsewhere, I suggested the park, or said “text me next time, I’ll make sure I’m free to host” but she just does not care. Is it too much to want a little heads-up for guests? I need my privacy too.
