2023 Reflection | Overcoming On-Camera Fears 📸

What I achieved last year was overcoming the fear of speaking on camera for social media.

One of the biggest reasons why I was nervous speaking on camera was because of the fear of being so vulnerable to people online but there's a silver lining to that and that is creating strong connections through multiple platforms ♡

I have a post on my account I wrote in November that goes into further detail on why I had those fears of speaking on camera and what I did to overcome them. I hope it helps you ♡

Speaking on camera requires not only a degree of confidence but also the ability to connect authentically with the audience. It is essential to understand that vulnerability can lead to creating genuine relationships, both personal and professional. To build on this, consider preparing for on-camera speaking by practicing in front of a mirror or recording yourself to identify areas of improvement. Engaging with social media communities dedicated to public speaking or video presentation can provide support and constructive feedback. Utilize hashtags like #Lemon8Challenge and #2023selfreflection to find resources and inspiration from others who are on similar journeys. Remember, everyone starts somewhere, and sharing your experiences can help others feel less alone in their struggles. Embrace the process and celebrate your achievements, no matter how small, as you overcome your fears and gain on-camera confidence.
