Stop doing for others all the time.
From my own experience, I used to spend so much time doing things for others that I neglected my own needs and goals. It was only after feeling burned out and emotionally drained that I realized the importance of setting clear boundaries. Doing too much for others without taking care of yourself can make you feel like an aged, forgotten vintage—something worn down from overuse. I started to value the concept of 'aged to perfection' in a personal sense, understanding that self-care and rest help you become the best version of yourself over time. Saying no or stepping back doesn't mean you're being selfish; it means you’re respecting your own energy and emotional capacity. One practical approach I found helpful is scheduling 'me time' regularly, even if it's just a few minutes a day, to recharge and reflect on my priorities. This mindset shift improved my relationships, work productivity, and overall happiness. Remember, you cannot pour from an empty cup—taking care of yourself enables you to support others better and more sustainably.
