Food I ate in Bangkok

Before I went to Bangkok, I went on Lemon8 and Tiktok to find some food recommendations to eat there so here are my personal thoughts on it. 🍴

- Thong Smith Siamese Boat Noodle

At centralw0rld

This was honestly a good meal for me & there are apparently a lot of outlets in Bk so I'm pretty sure u can go try it wherever u are at Bk. I recommend u to get the boat noodle with the broth because it was really appetising however the cracklings (bottom left) were a no for me. Don't expect the portion to be a bowl of ramen tho! 😓

- The Sixth

At Phra Nakhon (Near Wat Pho & Wat Arun)

Did some research as I went to the temple and wanted a meal nearby, hence found this place that was highly rated & recommended. Definitely one of the best meals

I had in Bk for me. The interior is super super nice & aesthetic too. 😍 The restaurant is pretty small so u might have to wait for awhile if its during peak hours. Check this place out if u are heading to the tourist attraction: Wat Pho & Wat Arun

- Greyhound Café

At Siam Center

Saw a lot of recommendations on Lemon8 however was quite disappointed with it... it was not anything special, honestly just felt like an overpriced café to me. I heard that their chicken wings were really good but too me it was average 😓😓 Personally did not enjoy this meal too much

- Jeh O Chula

The tomyum mama that everyone has been queuing for. I used the app QueQ to be in the waiting line before u reach, which I still waited an hour for.. 😔 There were a lot of people queuing outside as well. It was not mind blowing-ly good but still yummy & satisfying. I really wonder whats the hype and why is everyone queuing for this 😂 If u are around the corner then give this a try & check out whats the hype all about. I wouldnt say its not worth my time or really bad but the hype might have got my expectations too high 🫣

- Jodd Fairs Night Market

There were many different stalls/restaurant that sold this main dish: Leng Saap. Its spicy pork bone soup & the menu has different size from S to XXL. It was really really appetising & till today I still crave the sour spicy flavour 😂😂 Ordered other sides too but they arent the best in my opinion. What I would've done differently was get the XL leng saap instead of M & not order any other sides. Definitely should try this at Jodd Fairs, extremely worth it. 😋

Grabfood became a smart choice when we were in Bangkok, not because of just convenience but, just getting to that restaurant or eatery will require grabbing too HAHA 😫 Instead of Bolt-ing to these places and standing in line for hours just to get whatever food it is, we figured out it’s sometime
