Mental Health Diary

I have had several experiences with toxic friends but this one experience in particular stood out to me. You can share your opinion on this matter if you see fit. This friend seemed nice and all when we first met. Not even a month later, I noticed that we would argue frequently; it usually started if we have a discussion. Or, sometimes they would make a rude comment about me and when I would address it, they would be respond with, “You shouldn’t let what I say bother you so much.” Once they “realized” what they said was wrong, they’d apologize, but the cycle would start all over again, with a discussion. It would also end with me “saying stupid stuff.”

I realized that pattern and broke contact with him (They also started harassing me after the last argument we had). I’m so glad I’ll never see them again.
