Cowboy Mafia Romance 🥰

ARC COPY RECEIVED FROM AUTHOR

I just want to say thank you to Alexis Morgan for the opportunity to ARC- Read this book!

That being said all reviews and comments and all thoughts/opinions are my own!

This was my FIRST COWBOY romance

… y’all I get the hype 🫣 honestly I think I will only read cowboy romances from now on. Honestly, the first paragraph did make me cringe a little. But the second is what had me hooked. This book I was honestly having big emotions there were times where I teared up a little and there were other times I was laughing out loud.. Honestly, this book made me wanna giggle and kick my feet.

Absolutely love the plot between the two characters. The story felt real realistic, and both characters had complex pass that they were both able to work through. You could see it on the page and you could feel their stories.

Maisie is the kind of girl that doesn’t take crap from anyone. She’s definitely one to match energies with. She was sassy and outgoing from the start. Of course she was a little guarded due to her past. But she was able to work through that with the help of the main male character.

Grayson you sly dog ❤️. Of course you had a troubled mafia past, but honestly I don’t know if that makes you walking red flag or I just need to put on my rose colored glasses. The way he would do anything to protect his family. The mouth this man has on him. The country flirtiness he definitely wears loud and proud.

Again thank you so much for this ARC read. I need her to start working on book two to find out who the next couple is( I have some ideas)!!!

... Read moreReading 'Writing Saddle' as my first cowboy romance truly opened my eyes to the depth and excitement this niche holds. The story's portrayal of two guarded hearts—Maisie and Grayson—feeling real and raw makes it unforgettable. What strikes me most is how the author blends intense romance with complex backgrounds, namely a mafia past intertwined with cowboy ruggedness, creating a unique emotional landscape. Living through the characters’ dynamics reminded me of how real-life relationships often involve protecting loved ones fiercely, similar to Grayson's mafia loyalty, but also requiring vulnerability, as Maisie demonstrates while opening up despite her guarded nature. This duality enriches the narrative and provides a refreshing break from typical romance clichés. Moreover, the Montana ranch setting adds a soothing, almost timeless backdrop where love unfolds amidst natural beauty and daily hardships. The forced proximity trope intensifies their connection, making every shared moment charged and intimate. For anyone curious about cowboy mafia romance or intrigued by found family stories, this book offers a heartfelt, humorous, and sometimes tear-jerking experience. It also ignites anticipation for the next book in the Lupine Love Letters series, hinting at more captivating couples and intertwined tales. Whether you're a seasoned reader or new to cowboy romances, this book’s blend of sass, passion, and protective love invites you to fall head over boots for Maisie and Grayson's story. It's a reminder that sometimes, the heart truly wants what it wants—no matter the past or the risks involved.
