Van Cleef & Arpels Pearl Colors
Some days we don't want to wear diamonds.
That day, things like Van Cleef & Arpels Perlée Couleurs will do their job. 🧡
Couleurs in French means "color."
It's a line in which Van Cleef & Arpels intended the colored stone to come up as a hero instead of a diamond.
The idea of this line is very simple - let jewelry bring brilliance into our weekdays.
The band is Carnelian, a reddish-orange stone so beautifully paired with Rose Gold that it is a color pair often seen at the brand's events.
The curved stone itself has no diamond squares, so the light falls on the stone is softer, warmer, sparkling in a different way than we are used to.
My particular favorite part is the small, round edge of gold that surrounds the stone, which is Perlée's signature. This kind of work seems simple, but keeping every gold grain equally round, evenly arranged, and polished until the whole circle is a task that relies on the standards of a very high team of mechanics.
This kind of ring is worn alone, it ends in itself.
The only orange stone on the finger makes the hand look up immediately.
