Gather Your Arsenal: You only need a few household items: baking soda, white vinegar (or fresh lemon juice as an alternative), an old toothbrush, and a bowl or a sturdy plastic bag. 2. The Disassembly & Soaking Method: First, I carefully disassemble my Jolie Shower Head. Seeing the main head separate from the cylindrical part and other disassembled components really makes you appreciate how much goes into filtering your water. Once it's apart, I place the smaller pieces, and if possible, the main head, into a bowl. If the main head can't be fully submerged, I fill a plastic bag with equal parts warm water and white vinegar, secure it around the showerhead with a rubber band, and let it soak. For the disassembled parts, I often make a paste with baking soda and a little water, spreading it generously, especially on the underside of the dark showerhead, focusing on those numerous water outlets and any visible mineral buildup or residue. If I combine baking soda and vinegar directly on the shower head, I often see a satisfying white foam, which tells me it's working to break down grime. 3.
