I’ve found that constantly reflecting on what 'coulda,' 'woulda,' and 'shoulda' happened only leads to regret and stagnation. When I started focusing on taking decisive action instead of lamenting missed chances, it really shifted my outlook on life. Action creates momentum and opens doors, while dwelling on the past just keeps you stuck. One practical way I've applied this is by setting small, achievable goals every day. Instead of worrying about what I didn’t do yesterday or last year, I focus on what I can do right now. Even simple steps toward something important build confidence and reduce the urge to replay regrets. I also remind myself that nobody has a perfect journey. Everyone makes choices they wish they could change. But the powerful thing is you always have control over your next move. So, when the temptation to say ‘coulda, woulda, shoulda’ creeps in, I pause and ask myself: what’s one thing I can do right now to improve my situation or mindset? This approach aligns with the message from @WhamSteppa to refuse being trapped in hearsay or empty talk about missed opportunities. Instead, it’s about taking charge of your narrative and pushing toward your goals without self-criticism or fear. Embracing this mindset frees you to live more intentionally, making choices that matter—today and every day.
