I hate this game
Okay, so I just saw that original post, and honestly, 'I hate this game' perfectly sums up how I've felt more times than I can count playing Dragon Ball Legends! When you spend 10,000 Chrono Crystals, or even more, on a new banner, hoping for that shiny new SSJ2 Goku or a powerful Gohan, and all you get is a bunch of HERO and EXTREME units... it's soul-crushing. That feeling of being 'shafted' is all too real, right? It's like the game actively laughs at your efforts after a Consecutive Summon! I remember saving up my Tickets and CC for weeks, waiting for a specific STEP-UP banner. The excitement builds up during the summon animations, especially when you hit the 5x Consecutive Summon. You see the SPARKING Rates, sometimes they look decent like 20% on certain steps, but then the reality hits. The odds can feel so stacked against you, especially when you're aiming for a specific LEGENDARY character. It’s not just about getting a random SPARKING unit; it's about getting the featured one. And when you don't, even after investing so much, it makes you question why you even play. We all chase that dream of getting high Z Power units for our favorite characters. I've been there, pulling multiple times on Zenkai Summon banners, just to try and boost my existing characters, only to walk away feeling empty-handed and seeing a disappointing Summon Result. So, what do we do when we get 'shafted' this hard in DBL? For me, it's about perspective. Sometimes I tell myself to just enjoy the core gameplay and the Dragon Ball universe, rather than focusing solely on summoning. Other times, I set strict limits on how many Chrono Crystals I'll spend on a banner. If I don't get what I want after a certain amount, I stop. It's tough, but it prevents even more frustration and helps manage expectations around those low SPARKING Rates. The 'legends never die gacha' mindset is wild, isn't it? Despite all the bad luck, the community keeps coming back, hoping the next summon will be 'the one.' We share our summon results, commiserate over our failures, and celebrate those rare moments of glory. It's a true love-hate relationship with these games. But hey, at least we're not alone in our gacha struggles! What's your worst DBL summon story? Did you get the new SSJ2 Goku or were you completely shafted too?
