He Gives Beauty For Ashes!
There was a time in my life when all I could see were the ashes.
The ashes of addiction.
The ashes of mistakes.
The ashes of broken relationships.
The ashes of pain, regret, shame, and choices I wish I could take back.
I thought my story was over.
But God wasn’t finished with me.
God took the parts of my life I wanted to hide and turned them into a testimony.
He took my pain and gave it purpose.
He took my darkest days and taught me how to carry hope into someone else’s darkness.
Isaiah 61:3 says He gives us “beauty for ashes.”
I am living proof that your ashes do not have to be the end of your story.
And I believe somebody reading this needs to hear this today:
God can heal you.
God can restore you.
God can redeem what you thought was destroyed.
You may be standing in the ashes right now wondering how anything beautiful could ever come from what you’ve been through.
Keep going.
The chapter you’re living today is not the final chapter.
One day, the very thing that almost broke you may become the testimony that helps someone else survive.
I don’t look back at my past with pride in everything I did.
I look back with gratitude for everything God brought me through.
I was never too far gone for His grace, and neither are you.
Give God your ashes.
