how to survive restaurant work 🍴
Heyyyyy my lemon 8 babies!😝 long time no see! Today I’m taking on the Lemon8 #ratingjobs prompt and well… I’ve had more jobs than Trish atp.🤣Today I’ll be focusing on the restaurant industry specifically! I’ve been working since I was 14, I’ll be 21 this August! So I have plenty of experience with multiple different people, jobs and environments. The biggest piece of advice I can give is LET THAT ISH GO! If the job isn’t serving you do not stay! Move on to bigger and better things, never take anything personal and ALWAYS stand up for yourself. To coworkers, customers and managers alike. We’re all people at the end of the day don’t let a title fool you. Make fun of your job! Talk to new people, different coworkers etc. I’ve found some of my best friends from my old jobs! And finally, do not feel like you owe a job anything. They need you more then you need them, never forget! If you have any questions feel free to comment them below! Follow my socials and YouTube linked in bio, new vlog coming soon! And have a great day.😁 @🩶 VXN EST MMIV 🩶

Working in the restaurant industry can be both rewarding and challenging. Here are some key strategies to stay sane and thrive: 1) Remember that no job is worth your sanity. Prioritize your mental health above all else. 2) Be patient with yourself and your coworkers, as the fast-paced environment can lead to stress. 3) Kindness goes a long way; treating everyone with respect ensures a supportive work environment. 4) Focus on learning and growth rather than just monetary gains, as this can lead to greater job satisfaction. 5) Don't take things personally; everyone has their own challenges, and it’s important to keep a positive mindset. Additionally, engaging with your coworkers can relieve stress. Many find lifelong friends through their restaurant experiences. If you ever feel overwhelmed, don't hesitate to reach out for support from your team! By employing these strategies, you'll not only survive but also thrive in this dynamic industry.

omg I’ve never had a restaurant job! thanks for the tips, how did you first get into the field? I’m worried having no experience will make it less likely to get hired
