Spring Blushes 🌸

spring blush favorites lately 🌷✨

I’ve been rotating between these three blushes nonstop depending on the look I want:

• IT Cosmetics Sun Blush gives the prettiest fresh glowy flush and looks super natural on the skin

• Rhode in Toasted Teddy is perfect for that warm sunkissed bronze blush look

• Summer Fridays in Toasted Terracotta has the nicest rosy terracotta tone that pulls a whole makeup look together

All three blend so easily and work really well for soft everyday makeup without looking too heavy. Definitely my most used blushes this spring 🤍✨ #lemon8partner #SpringMakeup #BlushFavorites #glowymakeup #everydaymakeup

... Read moreSince I'm absolutely obsessed with finding the perfect flush for spring, I wanted to share a bit more about how I choose and apply my blushes, especially when I want that natural, radiant look. Beyond just my top three picks, understanding these nuances can really elevate your makeup game! Let's start with the magic of terracotta blush. When I mentioned the Summer Fridays blush in a rosy terracotta shade, I truly meant it pulls a whole look together. I've found that terracotta, especially with a hint of rose, is incredibly flattering on so many skin tones. If you have warmer undertones, it enhances your natural glow, making you look effortlessly sun-kissed. But even for cooler tones, a rosy terracotta can add a beautiful warmth without looking orange. My personal trick is to apply it slightly higher on the cheekbones, blending outwards towards the temples. This gives a lifted, healthy appearance that’s perfect for springtime. It's like a soft hug of color for your face! Then there's the art of achieving that fresh, glowy flush – something I adore, especially with the IT Cosmetics Sun Blush. This reddish-brown cream blush truly delivers. Cream blushes are my secret weapon for a dewy look that powder just can't quite replicate. I like to dab a small amount onto the apples of my cheeks with my fingertips, then gently blend it out using a damp beauty sponge. The warmth from your fingers helps the product melt seamlessly into the skin, giving you that 'lit from within' radiance. For me, it’s all about building up the color gradually to avoid any harsh lines, ensuring it looks super natural, as if I just had a brisk walk in the spring breeze! And who doesn't love a sunkissed bronze blush look? The Rhode blush in Toasted Teddy, with its beautiful brownish-pink hue, is a dream for this. To get that perfect 'just spent a day at the beach' vibe, I apply this shade not just on my cheeks, but also lightly across the bridge of my nose and a touch on my forehead. It ties everything together, creating a harmonious, sun-kissed effect without needing a full bronzer application. I find that a slightly denser brush works wonders with these types of shades, allowing for precise placement and a diffused, natural finish. It’s all about making it look like the sun naturally kissed those areas. For everyday makeup, the key is always easy blending and a non-heavy feel. Regardless of the formula – cream, liquid, or powder – I always start with a small amount of product. It's much easier to add more blush than to take it away! I also pay attention to my skin prep. A well-moisturized base helps the blush glide on smoothly and blend like a dream. On days when I want extra longevity, especially with cream blushes, I might lightly set the perimeter of my face with a translucent powder, but I avoid powdering directly over the blush to maintain that beautiful glow. Choosing your perfect spring blush also comes down to experimenting with different textures. I often rotate between creams like the IT Cosmetics Sun Blush and more traditional powder formulas, depending on my skin’s needs and the look I’m going for. For me, spring is about embracing lighter textures and brighter, more vibrant (but still natural!) colors. Don't be afraid to try shades you wouldn't normally reach for – you might just discover your new favorite, just like I did with these lovely terracotta and brownish-pink tones! It’s all about enhancing your natural beauty and feeling fresh for the season.

blushes to wear this winter 🥰
i think doing towards the deeper, more berry tones in a blush is very fitting for the colder seasons so these are a couple of my faves 🍇 fwee pudding pot — faded a little mauve-y, but still in that range of berry shades, this one is more of a flush of color that definitely leaves that blurred l
