The post I originally made was me trying to take accountability of placement of the tattoo, which I later discovered wasn’t entirely my fault- but the other things that occurred during the tattoo were brought to my attention by commenters. The post was never intended to bash the artist or the shop (as they know), but the comments eventually got too wild about the practice and ended up turning the post into a negative space for the shop. The shop was kind enough to reach out to me to discuss amending the issues I had with the tattoo, which is something this shop upholds for all clientele- not just because I had a video blow up over it. Their shop is extremely clean, their 7 actual artists hired to work there practice high standards of professionalism and quality. I am just doing my best to support these artists who were wronged by the comments. They’re mothers, fathers, husbands and wives. They’re people who deserve respect and support. They did not teach the other artist to tattoo with an unwrapped machine or armrest etc. I even asked permission from the artist to record, it is all unfortunate. I believe he had no intentions of wronging me or anyone that day, he was really kind and it hurts to know that happened to both of us really. I just hope to make amends for the shop and help them get their clients back! I seriously appreciate their efforts to fix the situation and make things right. I cannot wait to work with them in the future! And obviously I’ve learned what a good practice looks like lol.
