It’s important to remember that being human means experiencing a wide spectrum of feelings, including stress, sadness, or even frustration. When I’ve had my own moments of breaking down, I found that allowing myself to cry or express that emotion is not a sign of weakness but a way to release built-up tension. From personal experience, holding in these emotions can make things worse, while letting them out helps you clear your mind. The key, however, is not to stay trapped in that emotional state. After having a meltdown or an emotional release, take a moment to reflect on what’s truly important and where you want to go next. Refocusing your energy on your goals and aspirations can provide a sense of control and purpose. It’s a process of being kind to yourself—acknowledging your feelings and then gently guiding yourself forward. I’ve realized that resilience is built from these cycles of acceptance and action. Rather than unpacking permanent negativity, I try to 'cry it out' and then center my thoughts on positive next steps. This mindset encourages growth and builds emotional strength over time. So, if you’re feeling overwhelmed, know that it’s perfectly human to feel that way—and that feeling doesn’t define you. Embrace the process, be compassionate with yourself, and keep moving toward your future.
