Went for a walk around campus 🩷⭐️
I love going for walks around my campus, and even though it is winter and kinda sad outside I decided to make the most out of it and take a video of some of my favorite places to walk through or by! 🎀
I absolutely love the feeling of exploring my campus, no matter the weather! There's something so peaceful about taking a moment to simply be present and 'go outside,' even when the winter chill sets in. If you're like me and enjoy a good stroll, let me share some thoughts on how you can make the most of your own campus adventures. First off, don't let the cold deter you from those invigorating outdoor moments. Bundle up in layers, grab a warm drink, and just embrace it! Sometimes, the stark beauty of winter – the bare trees, the crisp air, even a dusting of snow – offers a completely different perspective on familiar paths. I find that a good 'walk with me around campus' session helps clear my head and boosts my mood, especially when deadlines loom. It’s amazing what a bit of fresh air can do for focus and creativity, proving that 'i love going outside' isn't just a phrase, it’s a lifestyle! Look for hidden nooks, unique architecture, or even just a quiet bench where you can sit for a moment and soak in the atmosphere. Beyond the natural beauty and fresh air, many universities are treasure troves of culture and history. On days when it's just too cold or rainy for a long outdoor exploration, I often turn my attention indoors. Have you ever considered exploring the 'museums' or art galleries right on your campus? So many universities boast impressive collections—from natural history exhibits to student art showcases, and even historical archives unique to the institution. These are fantastic places to spend an hour or two, learning something new and enriching your campus experience without having to venture far. Often, these campus museums are free for students and offer a quiet refuge for reflection and learning. It’s a great way to blend an indoor activity with the spirit of discovery that comes with getting out and about. And for those times when you're looking for a different kind of stimulation, keep an eye on campus event listings. While you might not find a 'singer interview' every day, campuses are vibrant hubs of activity. You'll often discover guest lectures, film screenings, open mics, student performances, or panel discussions. These events are perfect for engaging with the broader campus community and expanding your horizons. I've often stumbled upon fascinating talks by visiting professors or local artists, which always adds another layer to my appreciation for campus life. So whether you're taking a brisk 'walk with me around campus,' delving into a campus museum, or catching a captivating event, there's always something to discover and enjoy, no matter the season!
