Every day is a struggle. Not only am I getting older, but I’m also dealing with health issues that make reaching my goals take longer, and that can be frustrating. But I can’t give up. My son told me I am his inspiration and the reason he never gives up, so I can’t sit here and not give my all to make this happen !!

Being a single mom helps me realize that my efforts don’t just affect me—they inspire my child too. Knowing that I’m a role model for perseverance motivates me to keep pushing even when progress seems slow. Also, connecting with others who share similar goals, especially women over 40, creates a valuable community of support and understanding. Remember, the key to reaching weight loss goals is consistency and not giving up on yourself. Health issues or age are hurdles, but they don’t define your potential.
