The 100th day of school is around the corner for a lot of kiddos!!! If you need inspo, here are my twins on their 100th day in Kindergarten!!! My husband and I had SOOOOO much fun creating “THIS”!!!!
👵🏻👵🏻2 grumpy grandmas heading to their 100th day of KINDERGARTEN!!!
One is mad because she has lipstick on her coffee mug & the other isn't happy because her old back is hurting this morning!!
Their hair lady was late to the Retirement Home so they still have their hair in curlers & that is a no go for these 2. Tuesday mornings are when they have all of their Dr's appointments and now they have to go like this. I keep telling them the more they frown like this those forehead wrinkles get deeper and deeper🤣
These 2 tend to get lost easily and another thing that upset them was they have an "if found" sign now attached to their walker so that staff can get them back to the right room. I also heard them griping to the activities director this morning over breakfast that they were told they had to wear socks & 2 pair of knee highs this morning because of the frigid temps. They just don't understand that this cold is bad for their skin.
Oh and.... they don't understand why at 100 they STILL have personalized things like their coffee mugs. I keep telling them--- you guys are identical. People don't know who is who and this helps... they rolled their eyes at me.
Nothing can make them happy... just grumps.
Neither have had their coffee or their pills yet & they don't feel like they truly need the Life Alert button (but news to them they do... I mean they are 100 after all!) 👵🏻👵🏻
We had SO much fun making them the cutest old ladies around! My hubs made these precious walkers out of PVC pipe from Lowe’s- then spray painted them silver glitter! He screwed on their pill box & I filled them with skittles and Mike & Ikes and attached the flowers💜 👵🏼👵🏼
I then added the "if found" sign to complete it! I used my Silhouette machine to cut out the vinyl!!
I could not find an "old lady" print in a skirt for them... so off to the thrift store I went. I found a 3XL skirt and the print was perfect - came home and cut it up making them each a skirt that hit right at calf level! Who knew I could sew (don't look close... it's an awful job😂).
I recycled a couple of their juice boxes- covered them in a white material & used my vinyl machine to make them the Life Alert buttons!!
They each have sponge rollers throughout their hair along with a headband where I hot glued on cotton balls for their white hair & finished off their look with a scarf wrapped around their head. Grabbed some $1 readers from Dollar Tree and I attached some string pearls with clear rubber bands to the sides so they don't lose them! To finish their look, they each have some costume jewelry and sparkly dangle earrings from Goodwill!
I think I have the cutest little grumpy grandmas around 💜👵🏻💜👵🏻💜!!!
