I made the viral Japanese cheesecake and threw it

I made the viral Japanese cheesecake… and the first time I threw it away.

It was sour and honestly didn’t live up to the hype for me.

Most versions I kept seeing were just yogurt + cookies, and that texture and flavor wasn’t giving cheesecake at all. So I went back, fixed what was missing, and ended up with three versions that actually work.

If you’ve tried this trend and felt underwhelmed, this is probably why.

🍪 ORIGINAL BISCOFF VERSION

• Nonfat Greek yogurt

• Cheesecake pudding mix (add as much as your preference)

• Honey (to taste)

• Biscoff cookies (crushed and mixed in)

After refrigeration:

• Crushed Biscoff cookies

• Caramel drizzle

🍫 CHOCOLATE OREO VERSION

• Nonfat Greek yogurt

• Chocolate fudge pudding mix (add as much as your preference)

• Oreos (crushed and mixed in)

• Vanilla skinny syrup (to taste)

After refrigeration:

• Nutella drizzle

• Extra Oreo crumble

🍯 GOLDEN OREO VERSION

• Nonfat Greek yogurt

• Cheesecake pudding mix (add as much as your preference)

• Golden Oreos (crushed and mixed in)

• Vanilla skinny syrup (to taste)

After refrigeration:

• Caramel drizzle

• Golden Oreo crumbs

❄️ REFRIGERATION

Refrigerate 4–6 hours,

but for best texture and flavor, overnight is ideal.

Same base, different finishes — and a completely different result.
