One place I personally enjoyed is the ShanChengBuDao (Mountain City Walk), which is perfect for a laid-back stroll surrounded by quaint shops and trinket stores. Just a advice: if you're taking Didi or any ride service, be sure to pin the correct entrance to avoid a tough climb, as the stairs can be steep. For shopping and eating, Raffles City is a massive mall where you can easily spend a whole day. From designer boutiques to local snack vendors, it's a one-stop spot to shop and fuel up. Food lovers must visit Jiaochangkou Night Market, especially if you love street food. The market stretches along a bustling street filled with numerous stalls offering a wide variety of dishes to tantalize your taste buds. A highlight for me was the Mixue Flagship Store. It's less crowded in the morning, so try to visit early. The first floor serves their famous ice creams and drinks, while the second floor offers snacks, blind boxes, and keychains. Going later in the afternoon can be quite cramped, so timing helps. Another interesting site is Liziba, where you can catch the unique sight of the train running through the middle of the building. Visit before peak hours to enjoy the scene without too many people around. Remember, the iconic Hongyadong lights usually turn on between 6 pm to 7 pm. I recommend visiting after dusk to admire the illuminated traditional architecture and capture great photos with fewer crowds.
