Pray with Me (Monday)
Today, I cast every care upon You because I know You care for me. Go before us, encamp Your angels around us, strengthen the weary, and lift those who are burdened. Remind us that no situation is beyond Your power.
God, You sit high and look low, yet You never forget Your children. You have been better to me than I've been to myself, and for that, I am grateful.
Thank You for the cross and the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who hung, bled, and died so that we might have everlasting life.
Lord, I trust You with what lies ahead. You are mighty, faithful, sovereign, and worthy of all praise. I surrender my worries, my plans, and my will to You.
You made a way before, and I trust You to make a way again!
We give You all the honor, glory, and praise.

Starting my Mondays with prayer has always been a personal ritual that helps me center my spirit and renew my hope for the week ahead. This particular prayer resonates with me deeply, especially the part where it reminds us that no situation is beyond God's power. It serves as a comforting assurance that whatever challenges we face, we are not alone and help is near. I find that casting every care upon God is not always easy, especially when anxiety or fear creeps in. However, surrendering my worries and plans to Him has been a transformative experience. It has liberated me from the heavy burden of trying to control every outcome, allowing me to embrace peace and trust instead. The prayer’s invocation for angels to encamp around us and to strengthen the weary has also been a source of great encouragement. In moments when I feel physically or emotionally drained, imagining divine protection and support gives me the courage to keep going. Referencing Exodus 14:14, "The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace," reminds me that the victories in life often come through faith and patience rather than through my own efforts alone. Realizing this has changed my approach to difficulties — I strive to rest more in faith and less in frantic action. Moreover, I am continually thankful for the acknowledgment of Jesus Christ's sacrifice, which reaffirms the foundation of my Christian faith and the promise of everlasting life. It’s a reminder that grace and salvation are freely given, encouraging me to live each day with gratitude and purpose.
