Beyond the caves and climbers, there are various hiking trails offering stunning panoramic views of the entire Getu River Scenic Area valley. Don't miss the chance to see the 'Swallow Cave' where thousands of swallows nest, creating a mesmerizing spectacle at dusk. Every turn offered a new vista, a new sound, and a new reason to fall in love with this region. Getting to this part of กุ้ยโจว (Guizhou) might seem a bit off the beaten path, but it's totally worth the journey. I'd recommend allocating at least a full day, if not two, to truly soak in the atmosphere. Wear comfortable shoes for hiking and be prepared for some humidity, especially inside the caves. There are local guesthouses and restaurants within the scenic area, offering a taste of authentic local cuisine that was surprisingly delicious. It’s a place where you can genuinely disconnect from the hustle and bustle of city life and connect with raw, untamed beauty.
