Book review The Intelligent Investor
📖 The Intelligent Investor Book Review
By Page Capital Think
I gave Benjamin Graham's "The Intelligent Investor" first book to hit. 🤔
✅ What's cool in this book?
💰 Value Investing principle that grandfather Warren Buffett uses to this day!
🎭 this "Mr. Market" idea is cool! The stock market is like a bad friend. We don't follow his emotions, use the rhythm he gives. 😉
🛡️ The Margin of Safety Investment Hedge Principle requires bumpers, not racing alone. 😅
Divide investors into 2 styles:
🧘 Defensive Investor - Sure, don't choose a lot of stocks yourself, maybe a mutual fund or a big stable stock.
💪 Enterprising Investor - Diligent Line! Find a good, cheap stock yourself. For a more beautiful return.
🌟 The best of this book!
My favorite is "Mr. Market." It makes me think that "Market" is not something we have to be honest about, but a tool we need to be. Any day the price goes up and down doesn't mean it's really cheap or expensive, but it's an opportunity for us to buy when it's cheap, sell when it's expensive. 😎
🎁 What did you read?
👀 New perspective! Definitely not flowing with the market stream.
🧠 Understand that safety must come first, profit whiz.
All ideas can be built on, whether stocks, funds or whatever.
💡 How to read to remember and use it?
🐢 Read comfortably, don't rush, divide into chapters, and write a short note after reading.
🗣️ find hit words like "Margin of Safety" or "Mr. Market." Tell them to your friends and remember them longer.
🧐 Read it over. Let's take a look back at the portfolio ourselves. Do the shares we hold have any Margin of Safety?
🔄 Come back and read it! The book is really tight. One round of reading may not be collected. 😉
✍️ Leave a little end...
Investing isn't just about making money, it's about creating a stable and sustainable way of thinking. This volume definitely gives you that. 👍
📌 Who hasn't read it? I'm cheering! This is really "the basis of long-term investors"!
