For Honor: Rewind 49 #forhonor #lawbringer
As a dedicated For Honor player, I've spent countless hours in the thick of battle, and among all the heroes, the Lawbringer holds a special place in my heart. There's just something incredibly satisfying about enforcing justice with that massive poleaxe! If you've been looking to elevate your Lawbringer gameplay, or even if you're just starting out, I'm here to share some of my personal insights and strategies that have really helped me turn the tide in many matches. Lawbringer, often seen as a defensive powerhouse, truly shines when you understand his unique blend of crowd control, parry punishes, and unblockable pressure. My core gameplay revolves around patience and capitalizing on opponent mistakes. The 'Shove on Block' is your bread and butter against aggressive attackers. It grants you frame advantage, allowing you to follow up with a light attack or even a guard break if they're expecting another shove. Don't forget that perfectly timed parries are where Lawbringer truly excels – his 'Impaling Riposte' and 'Blind Justice' heavy follow-ups deal massive damage and can swing momentum in an instant. Trust me, landing an Impaling Riposte into a wall splat and then a heavy attack feels incredibly rewarding! When it comes to offense, Lawbringer might seem a bit slower, but his unblockable heavy finishers are terrifying. Mix them up! Sometimes let it fly, sometimes feint into a guard break, or even a light poke. The trick is to be unpredictable. I've found that using the 'Long Arm' (the unblockable grab) can be very effective against overly defensive opponents, especially when they're expecting a parry bait. It's a high-risk, high-reward move, but catching someone off guard with it often leads to a free heavy. Choosing your feats is another crucial aspect for successful Lawbringer gameplay. For Tier 1, 'Body Count' is usually my go-to in Dominion for faster zone clearing. Tier 2 often sees me picking 'Thick Blood' to counter bleed/fire damage, which can be a lifesaver. For Tier 3, 'Pugno Mortis' for burst damage or 'Second Wind' for self-sustain are both excellent choices depending on the game mode and team composition. Finally, 'Catapult' is almost always my Tier 4 pick – nothing beats clearing a point or finishing off multiple enemies with a well-aimed rockfall. I've been reflecting on some of my older gameplay sessions, almost a 'For Honor Rewind' of my own progress, and what I've consistently learned is that positioning and awareness are key for Lawbringer. You’re not a ganker in the traditional sense, but your strong parry punishes and zone attack can be excellent in breaking up enemy ganks or supporting teammates. Always be looking for opportunities to impale an enemy into a hazard or to shove an attacker off a ledge. Stamina management is also huge; Lawbringer's heavy attacks consume a fair bit, so know your limits and don't overcommit. Ultimately, mastering Lawbringer is about understanding his deliberate pace and punishing nature. He might not be the flashiest hero, but his ability to control the flow of battle and deliver devastating blows makes him an incredibly satisfying character to play. Keep practicing your parries, learn your spacing, and don't be afraid to experiment with your feints. I'm always refining my approach, and I hope these tips help you bring true justice to the battlefields of For Honor!
