Let's Write A Stamp - The Naked Gun (2025)

From a man who used to say the legendary sentence "I'll find you and I'll kill you," to a man wearing a super detective spirit with a deadpan joke that shot at an audience without asking. This is the new version of The Naked Gun, which dusted off a new classic 1980s comedy, and most importantly, Liam Neeson was the one carrying the whole joke.

Just seeing Liam's name, I thought of a chase scene, shooting in the middle of the street, or a brutal, cool father, but when I saw the trailer of this story, I hurried to put my brain in front of the theater door because I knew from the beginning that this wasn't a movie that required a waste of energy, and I was really happy to do that, because when the movie started, I was shot with jokes without rest, jokes, jokes, jokes, punks, and stupid jokes that I knew were stupid but still funny.

It's a crazy movie that doesn't have to think about, just let yourself go with the extreme distortions that the characters in the story experience, whether they explode in the middle of a press conference or chase a bad guy at every stroke, slapping his head and stroking his back.

Liam Neeson plays surprisingly well, because the memory is usually brutal, still, surviving in the woods, but in this story, you're willing to play jokes, dress up funny, and act like a serious situation, the most ridiculous, to make the movie funny to the next level.

But to be honest, this isn't an easy movie for everyone to like, because if it's not funny, put everything in one pot, or hope for something a little ridiculous, it might feel dormant or bored. The real movie doesn't have much new stuff. It's a gluey case-chasing detective plot that's based on other jokes, which might only suit Liam Neeson's fan line, or someone who grew up with the old version of The Naked Gun.

Rated 2 / 5 It doesn't look bad, but if you don't watch it in the theater, you can wait for streaming. But one thing to remind if you watch it in the theater, don't get up at End Credit because there's something cool at the end.
