While we, the Marvel fans, are counting the days waiting for the arrival of the doomsday in Avengers: Doomsday, 2026, today we would like to invite everyone by the wayside to talk about another equally interesting project: the animation series "Marvel Zombies" on Disney +.

Remember? In the What If series...?The first season, the fifth episode that made us gasp? When the heroes we loved became zombies chasing each other, yes, this Marvel Zombies series is an expansion, continuing from that moment in full.

The plot is simple, but very powerful. Imagine that the world that was once guarded by the Avengers is now filled with past heroes in a mad zombie state hungry for fresh meat. This mission falls to the rest of the surviving heroes, a gathering of characters we are familiar with in the MCU who fight to save the world. Who will survive? Who will fall? Or who we cheer on will become a walking nightmare?

The point that made the series so exciting and believed to be what made it so easy for fans to catch up was that Marvel Studios filled the movie version with real actors returning to voice their own characters. Listen for a moment and realize that this is his real voice, making the atmosphere of the story more realistic and powerful as it really is back home.

More importantly, this series will be Marvel Studios' first animation to be rated TV-MA! What does that mean? We'll see brutal, raw, bootleg, and inexorable horror scenes. Forget the clear superhero animation. This event prepares for a darker, more realistic scene than ever before.

Marvel Zombies comes in a four-part mini-series, about half an hour each, which is perfect for one night. It will feel like we've watched a long Marvel animated movie that's so fun, exciting and thrilling that we're sitting in a chair.

While there are some points that I personally feel are yet to go, with the courage to present new brutality and respect for the original cast, it's considered a series that Marvel fans can't miss. It's rated at 4 / 5. Whoever has two hours of free time, try opening Disney + and dive into this desperate universe together. You'll know that the scariest zombies are the ones that used to be loved and believed.
