If you knew the true definition of humble, you would stop saying it about yourself. #success #credit #finance
Understanding humility can be challenging, especially when society often encourages us to label ourselves as 'humble' regardless of our true attitudes. From my experience, humility is not about self-deprecation or constantly telling others you are humble; it’s about genuine humility in actions and mindset. I remember a time when I was homeless, and nobody around me expected much. There was no one telling me to be humble because I was struggling just to survive. Now, having come a long way, I reflect on how many people focus on projecting humility as a virtue while overlooking the hard work and resilience that got them where they are. It's important to balance confidence and humility without false modesty. Declaring yourself humble can sometimes come across as disingenuous or even contradictory. True humility means recognizing your strengths and accomplishments without needing constant validation or self-praise. Living life on your own terms and owning your achievements without downplaying them is key. The word “humble” has been used so often that its meaning can get diluted. I encourage everyone to think deeply about what it really means to be humble—not just the dictionary definition, but how it applies practically in life and success. If you’re like me, you want to live authentically and not follow imposed expectations of humility that feel limiting. Instead, embrace your journey, your successes, and your character with a balanced humility that respects your worth and the struggles behind your achievements.
